Kids had fun at Children's Diwali Party
There were festive celebrations and great entertainment at the KPS children’s Diwali Party

Children from the Samaj and KPS Gujarati School celebrated Diwali and New Year on Saturday 17th October by attending their very own fun Diwali function.

The excited children began the party by making various Diwali arts and crafts and related activities. These included rangoli designs; diwali cards; coloring diwali pictures; solving diwali puzzles; crosswords & Origami

The joviality began with dancing to the latest Bollywood songs. Then there was more fun, laughter and games as Mike from “Creative Kids” took over. He soon had them dancing to the latest pop tunes, playing party favorites like musical statues, pass the parcel and the Hockey Cokey. The children especially enjoyed the parachute games.

Afterwards, there was a short break to enjoy a party feast. (As if they needed the energy!) The pizza’s and chocolate sandwiches went down a treat! Whilst the games continued, the children still found time to have their faces painted, hands decorated with mehndi for the girls & menhndi tattoos for the boys.

The party finished with a talk from Deveena Kalaria on the significance of the Diwali celebrations. The KPS Children’s Diwali party was a great success and lots of fun. We would like to thank all the children for being such wonderful V.I.P’s.
